Shop, Sell and Donate to Children Art Foundation via "eBay Giving Works"

New York, USA (March 01, 2010) - Children Art Foundation (CAF) joined eBay "Giving Works Program" to raise funds to support art-education programs for underprivileged children and children with special needs in the US and in Thailand. By using this service, anyone can sell merchandise/items on eBay and designate sales proceeds to benefit Children Art Foundation. Sellers and buyers can also give a monetary contributions directly through eBay's website by using the "Donate Now" feature.


"eBay Giving Works Program" is a partnership between "eBay Inc", the world's largest online marketplace and "MissionFish", an eBay nonprofit partner with the goal of helping other nonprofits fundraise on eBay. MissionFish is responsible for collecting and delivering donations to nonprofits and issuing a tax receipts on behalf of nonprofits.


Children Art Foundation (CAF) is a registered nonprofit/charitable organization incorporated in New York with the aim of promoting the artistic development of underprivileged, disenfranchised or disabled school age children by providing them with opportunities for artistic expression, public dissemination of their artwork, financial educational support, and participation in cultural exchanges.


To date, CAF has helped 2 schools in New York (Elizabeth L. Newman Preschool and the Harriet and Robert Heilbrunn School) and 1 school (Subsomboon Pittayakom School) in Tak, Thailand. Contributions are applied to support and preserve art education programs at these schools and purchase art materials for their students.
