Children Art Foundation Receives a Donation from Columbia Records.

We are pleased to announce that Sony Music/Columbia Records signed a sponsorship agreement with Children Art Foundation. A music group they represent, MGMT , auctioned through eBay during the first week of January 2010 the props of their popular music video “Kids”.
MGMT, is a Grammy nominated band (nominated for the January 31, 2010 Grammy Awards for Best New Artist, and “Kids” is nominated for best pop performance) with a growing international following. Spin, Rolling Stone and Billboard magazines have favorably reviewed MGMT.
All proceeds from this auction will be donated to CAF’s general fund to support our art education activities. The announcement for this auction went live on NPR and was widely publicized in music industry blogs and newsletters.
