Sasithon Pooviriyakul
Photographer Volunteer [2011]
Sasithon Pooviriyakul is a born and raised New Yorker with a love for image storytelling. She was introduced to her first camera over ten years ago and photography has been her passion ever since. After completing her undergraduate degree in Communications and Photography at New York University, she spent seven years working in the advertising industry, while simultaneously operating a photography side business.
More recently, Sasithon decided to leave the advertising world to pursue her dream to travel through South East Asia and document her experience on film. As a strong believer in the importance of art education and creative development, Sasithon will be photographing the Children Art Foundation program at “The Bangkok School for the Blind” in hopes to create images that can further promote awareness and social change.
