Frances Rodríguez-Stern
Frances Rodríguez-Stern was born and raised in Puerto Rico, lived in the United States and Israel, and studied Art History at Yale University. She has experience working as an account executive for a prominent advertising agency in New York and later had her own business representing European fashion designers from Belgium, France, Iceland and Spain. She currently resides in Brooklyn and serves on the Board of Directors of Positive Planet and on the Board of the Historical Society for Clinton Hill. For Positive Planet, a charitable organization which seeks to set up and maintain sister school relationships between American schools and schools in underprivileged parts of the world, she has worked extensively in fundraising, organizing international student exchange programs, and visited their affiliated schools in Uganda.
